Mission
Our mission is to provide quality child care to members of the LMA community. We strive to:
- Foster an environment where children, parents, and staff feel safe to communicate feelings, where they are actively listened to, and their individual needs are attended.
- Be highly adaptive to the ever-changing and unique needs of a diverse community.
- Create a warm, sincere and caring environment that promotes children’s self-esteem and social, emotional, physical and cognitive development.
Communication with Families
Communication between staff and parents is tailored to meet the individual needs of each family. Frequent parental contact is encouraged. Enrolled families may visit the center at any time during the day.
Enrichment Programs
The LMACCC partners with MASCO member institutions and others to enrich the experience for students. Programs include swimming classes and year-round movement programs at Simmons College, dental clinic visits and examinations with the Harvard School of Dental Medicine.
